India & Sri Lanka

The secret of seeing wildlife is to spend the right amount of time in the right places with the right people.

All of our tours are designed and run to give the maximum benefit to both wildlife and local communities, to encourage the long term protection of species in the wild. We believe that responsible tourism provides valuable protection by its presence, and that where a community benefits financially from its wildlife it is more likely to help protect it.

The Royal Bengal Tiger is perhaps the most famous of India’s animals. Immortalised in Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book, this magnificent cat richly deserves its claim to be the King of The Jungle. Come with us and explore the well known parks of Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench and Ranthambhore; visit the lesser travelled parks of Tadoba, Nagarhole, Chitwan and Bardia; or cruise the amazing Sunderbans in your own private boat.

Whilst the tigers steal the headlines, Sher Khan also shares his home with many other fabulous animals. Sloth bears and leopard wander among the trees, and deer and monkey keep watch from the grasslands and in the trees. Search for the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros in Kaziranga, Chitwan and Bardia, or Gharial and Gangetic Dolphin on the Chambal River.
Sri Lanka is well known for leopard sightings in Yala and whale watching off the coast at certain times of year. Many hundreds of species of birds can be found for the keen birdwatchers.

We offer you your own private jeep on safari, and the services of an English speaking naturalist on game drives. It is also possible to arrange to have your tour privately escorted by one of our hand picked team of Naturalists, or dedicated tour manager to escort you through out.

Starting at Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. The Mowgli Pench Sanctuary is home to the present tiger. Breathtaking scenery, wide meandering rivers, Chital peacefully feeding in grassy meadows and a beautiful forested landscape with soft light filtering through the canopy: this is what Kanha National Park offers, It’s no wonder the park is said to have inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Bengal tigers are not the only sight to be seen; peacocks, gaurs, sloth bears and the hard-ground barasingha, an endangered species of deer endemic to Kanha, can also be found here. Bandhavgarh is truly the best place for seeing the Royal Bengal Tiger. By spending a concentrated time in one place, rather than travelling to several parks for shorter stays, This safari will significantly increase your chances of seeing tigers. The trip ends with a short visit to see the Taj Mahal.
