South Sudan  Migration and Tribes Safari

A safari that follows the greatest migration of mammals on Earth.

This safari is designed to intercept the herds of migrating Kob and Tang in Boma National Park. Most of the safari will be in the roadless wilderness of the park. Boma National Park is one of the largest parks in all of Africa.

The White Nile flows through Northern Uganda, into South Sudan and onward to the Mediterranean Sea. Long before Europeans arrived and changed the river's name it was known as the Bahr el Jebel. This is where our safaris take place. You will be taken deep into the roadless wilderness of Boma National Park (the 5th largest park in Africa), using GPS coordinates to navigate to radio collared animals.
Busanga Safaris work with the only licensed safari company to operate in this region, and together we  offer pioneering safaris in South Sudan. Come join us and venture into areas no tourist has seen for 25 years; wh
ere the Africa of 150 years ago still exists.

Going in and out of the area of the migration, the safari vehicles pass through Suri, Murle, Toposa and Jie villages giving you a chance to photograph these traditional people. Read more .
