Tiger Tiger - Pench - Kanha + Banhavgarh

Starting at Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. The Mowgli Pench Sanctuary is home to the present tiger. Breathtaking scenery, wide meandering rivers, Chital peacefully feeding in grassy meadows and a beautiful forested landscape with soft light filtering through the canopy: this is what Kanha National Park offers, It’s no wonder the park is said to have inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Bengal tigers are not the only sight to be seen; peacocks, gaurs, sloth bears and the hard-ground barasingha, an endangered species of deer endemic to Kanha, can also be found here. Bandhavgarh is truly the best place for seeing the Royal Bengal Tiger. By spending a concentrated time in one place, rather than travelling to several parks for shorter stays, This safari will significantly increase your chances of seeing tigers. The trip ends with a short visit to see the Taj Mahal.
